Yesterday was my first day back at work. I felt calm and productive, and got lots done. By the time I got home, I was positively smug, congratulating myself on how well I'd made the transition from vacation to working life.
Then I took off my sweater, and discovered that I'd been wearing my shirt inside out all day.

Yeah...well that's what you get.
Anon! Nice to see ya over here!
Ha! For some of us, just having our shirt inside out is a GOOD day - I am personally famous for it. I tell myself over and over that it becomes a lot less embarassing when you realize other people do it too.
Maybe the inside-out shirt is your lucky charm, and you should always wear it that way.
I've had many of those days.
I wore one blue sock and one black sock to work....two days in a row.
That's funny!
Ha my g/f does this sort of thing all of the time. If I do not inspect her clothing before she goes to work, she's screwed. Oddly enough, nobody at work has ever commented on her inability to dress herself. Do they not notice or just chalk it up to some weird dyke like behavior?
Thanks, all, for the reassuring words. I was actually sort of okay with it, because 1) I had only one class on Tuesday, and that was a 1st grade class, and they can barely even put on their *own* clothes never mind notice anyone else's; and 2) I'd had the sweater on all day, which made it hard to tell I was actually wearing the shirt inside out.
Still, it did seem to be a big hint to me that perhaps I was not quite as on top of things as I'd thought.
And Rebecca and Denise, hi! & welcome!
