The eternal question
If only I could just go to bed at 7, I could get enough sleep and all my troubles would be over. But of course there's too much going on then, what with dinner and toothbrushing and the nightly ritual reading of Betsy-Tacy.
Ah, well, off to do my reviews. Last batch of the school year!
More substantial posting after Thursday's multiple deadlines. Honest.

If you figure it out, let me know! I'm always much more awake at midnight!
i loved the Betsy Tacy Tib books as a kid! how fun that MG likes them too!
I cannot relate to this. I just don't understand it. After 9:30 I am comatose. On the other hand, when Ella wakes up at 5 am my heart sinks, because I know that in about five minutes this bright alert feeling is going to come flooding into me, and a terribly misinformed part of me is going to start thinking about how wonderful it is to hear all those birds singing and how many things I could be doing right then. It's not pretty. Then at 8 am, the feeling having worn off an hour ago, and resentful that Kristi can still sleep, I let the cat out of the basement and watch him run straight for the bedroom and get ready to pounce. I only do this when I am a Really Bad Person.
